In footage taken with a drone and distributed on youtube it can be seen that tons of radioactive debris from the Fukushima disaster are stored in nothing but black garbage bags.

It seems as if the storage site sits not more than 30 meters (~100 feet) away from the ocean. This after a “Tsunami” tidal wave caused by an earthquake destroyed the reactor in 2011.

The small town of Tomioka in the Fukushima prefecture is where currently millions of tons of radioactive soil and debris are stored in a temporary storage site.

The video, shared on the net by site once more shows the power of aerial drone photography and its use in journalism.
